Protecting the wall behind the sink or hob
Splashes of water and grease quickly damage paint or tile grout. A back-painted glass splashback forms a continuous, joint-free surface that wipes clean in seconds. Toughened glass withstands the heat of a hob: it is also suitable as a cooker hood splashback.
Uses of a glass panel in the kitchen
Toughened glass is a hygienic material: non-porous, it does not hold odours or bacteria and is not affected by water or household cleaners. Back-painted, it adds a touch of solid, glossy colour; clear, it protects the wall while letting its paint or wallpaper show.
Each splashback is made to measure: cut-outs for electrical sockets and switches, rounded corners, fixing holes, edge finishing. The drawing is shown in the configurator together with the price, before you order.
