Made-to-measure toughened glass for the garden and outdoors

Toughened glass also works outdoors: it shelters from wind and rain, marks out a terrace or balcony and dresses garden furniture, without blocking the view. Balustrade, privacy screen, pergola roof, greenhouse glazing or table top: each piece is cut to your measurements, toughened to withstand impacts and temperature changes, and delivered to your door.

Uses of glass in the garden
Strong, easy to maintain and full of light, toughened glass has a place all around the house.
Terrace and balcony balustrades
To make a terrace, an outdoor staircase or a balcony safe, toughened laminated glass is used: two sheets of toughened glass bonded by an interlayer. If it breaks, the pieces remain stuck to the interlayer and the balustrade stays in place. The view of the garden remains unobstructed.
Privacy screens and glass panels
A glass panel blocks the wind on a terrace without darkening the space. In frosted glass, it protects your privacy from the neighbours; in clear or low-iron glass, it leaves the view intact.
Pergola roofs, awnings and canopies
A glass roof protects from the rain while letting natural light through. For a roof or a canopy above a walkway, laminated glass is recommended: it stays in place even when broken.
Outdoor tables and furniture
Toughened glass withstands sun, rain and temperature changes. It does not warp or stain and wipes clean in seconds: ideal for a garden table top or a serving trolley.
Greenhouses and garden glazing
Toughened glass is more resistant to impacts (hail, branches, footballs) than ordinary glass and does not form sharp shards if it breaks. It lets through all the light that plants need.
Replacing a garden table top
Broken or scratched garden table top? We will remake it exactly, whatever the brand of your garden furniture (Hespéride, Grosfillex, Fermob…). Simply measure the old top, or the table frame, and enter its dimensions in the configurator.
The glass can be drilled in the centre for a parasol: enter the diameter and position of the hole on the drawing. Choose the shape (rectangular, square, round or oval), rounded corners and edge finish.
For an outdoor table, choose a thickness of 6 to 8 mm, or even 10 mm for large tables: toughened glass is then very resistant to impacts and temperature changes.
