Made-to-measure white kitchen splashbacks
Gloss or matt, a white splashback protects your walls while adding brightness and a modern feel. Strong, easy to clean and heat-resistant, it combines design and practicality. A matt white splashback, made on frosted glass, creates a softer, more soothing atmosphere.
Why choose our white kitchen splashback?
Our white toughened glass splashback is made to your measurements and easily withstands the heat behind a hob: toughened glass resists temperature differences of around 200 °C. The paint, applied to the back of the glass, is also heat-resistant: the white keeps all its brilliance. Thanks to its smooth surface, a white splashback is easy to clean and needs no special care.
Design your white glass splashback
How is a white glass splashback made?
A white glass splashback is cut and edge-worked, then toughened, before the white paint is applied to the back in our workshop; the colour is seen through the smooth face of the glass. The result: a uniform, easy-to-clean surface that covers the kitchen wall from the worktop to the wall units.
What are the advantages of a made-to-measure white glass splashback?
A made-to-measure white glass splashback fits the dimensions of the wall exactly, even with cut-outs or sockets. Its smooth surface makes cleaning easy and does not hold stains, and its uniform appearance suits every kitchen style. For your safety, the splashback is supplied with an anti-shatter film on the back of the glass, which must not be removed.

Frequently asked questions about white splashbacks
Which white should I choose for a white glass splashback?
Traffic white RAL 9016 and signal white RAL 9003 are pure, bright whites, perfect with gloss white unit doors. Pure white RAL 9010 is slightly warmer; cream RAL 9001 and grey white RAL 9002 go well with off-white doors, wood and stone. White, the most popular colour along with black, is part of the Plakglass selection: it is offered at a better price than other shades.
Why should a white splashback be made of low-iron glass?
Standard clear glass contains a little iron oxide, which gives it a green tint: on a white splashback, this tinge is clearly visible. Low-iron glass, almost colourless, keeps a pure white, true to the chosen shade.
Gloss or matt white splashback?
A gloss white splashback reflects light and makes the kitchen look bigger. The matt version, on frosted glass, offers a soft satin look with no reflections, which goes well with matt unit doors.
Does a white splashback get dirty quickly?
Splashes show more on white, but the smooth surface of the glass wipes clean in a moment, with no grout lines for dirt to build up in. A microfibre cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner are all you need; the colour, behind the glass, does not yellow.
Is a white glass splashback safe?
Yes: glass toughened to standard EN 12150, around five times stronger than ordinary glass and shattering into small, blunt fragments if it breaks. The film bonded to the back holds the fragments; standard EN 16477 covers painted glass for interior use.
What goes with a white splashback?
White goes with everything: wood for a warm kitchen, black for a graphic contrast, bright colours on the unit doors for a cheerful touch. A white splashback with white unit doors visually enlarges a small kitchen.
